I wanted to take the time to thank you and your amazing team for all you have done for HFMA. Not just related to the Western Symposium, but all the work you do with National HFMA to help support chapters with the new initiatives such as Cvent.
What an amazing transformation the conference has gone through since our partnership the last 2 years. Our first year working together, your team was thrown into a difficult environment with a hotel that was too small impacting our revenue. Plus the new collaboration bringing in 7 additional chapters which really required us to revamp the entire process. DeMarse was able to work with us to overcome all the challenges and ensure the conference was a big success! What impressed me the most was how your team post conference listened to the feedback of what worked, what didn’t and helped us identify areas of improvement to create a successful roadmap moving forward. Your teams ability to negotiate the move to a larger property that better fits our needs along with restructuring the sponsorship program allowed our event grow from 700 attendees in 2017 to almost 1000.
Partnering with DeMarse brought a level of professionalism that was clearly visible compared to past events. You and team were easy to work with and VERY organized keeping the volunteers from 14 chapters all working together . That is a BIG accomplishment!!! Building the framework for a successful conference is part of it, but your management of all the committee calls, always pushing agenda items forward and your ability to work alongside committees to help identify and develop solutions was definitely the key to keeping this massive undertaking on track to ensure a successful conference.
